At a sitting held on 8 March 2011, the Finance Committee members considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement regulating expense reimbursement between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Aleksandar Kocic from the Ministry of Finance briefly presented the Bill to the Committee members by which the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development guarantees that the Republic of Serbia will fulfill its obligations to the Societe Generale Bank according to their 400 million USD loan contract taken to finance the budget deficit.

Following a short discussion the Committee members accepted the Bill by a majority of votes and appointed Deputy Committee Chairperson Branka Ljiljak the Committee’s rapporteur.
