Serbian National Assembly Speaker Attends Inauguration of President of Argentina

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic is in official visit to Buenos Aires as the envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic to the inauguration of the newly-elected President of Argentina, H.E. Javier Milei.

Congratulating President Milei, Dr Orlic expressed his belief that the two countries will continue to strengthen their traditional friendship through an even more substantive cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and a strong commitment to respecting the principles of international public law.

He used the opportunity to especially thank Argentina for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country, as well as for the support it provides to Serbia's positions in international organisations. National Assembly Speaker Dr Orlic conveyed to President Milei his sincere wishes for the prosperity of the Republic of Argentina, at the same time thanking him for the invitation to participate in the inauguration ceremony.

On the sidelines of the festivities in Buenos Aires, the National Assembly Speaker had a series of meetings with dignitaries, with whom he discussed bilateral relations, as well as opportunities for strengthening interparliamentary and other cooperation.
