The Committee members endorsed the proposed activities and deemed the plan as ambitious and well drafted. In addition to legislative activities, establishing a regular cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports was also planned, so as to synchronise their work. It was agreed to invite Minister Snezana Samardzic-Markovic to the next sitting to brief the Committee members on the Ministry’s work plan for the rest of the year.

It was planned that the Committee holds seven sittings before the end of the year and that at one of them the Committee members be informed about the activities so far concerning the organisation of the 2009 Universiade in Belgrade.

As part of legislative activities, the Committee will discuss the next year’s budget proposal, the part concerning youth and sports, as well as the Bill on the Confirmation of the International Convention Against Doping in Sports.
