Ninth Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee

On 8 October 2025, the Security Services Control Committee held a sitting closed to the public, where it considered and adopted, by majority vote, the Security Information Agency Regular Activity Report and the Report on the security situation in the Republic of Serbia.


The reports covered all the most significant activities in the reporting period ending on 31 March 2025, which comprehensively reflect the work and enable a complete overview of the realised activities and tasks in the purview of the Security Information Agency.

The Committee positively assessed the professional conduct and work of the Security Information Agency
and gave full support to the achievement of their priority tasks concerning the protection of order and security of the Republic of Serbia and its citizens.

The reports were presented by the Director of the Security Information Agency Dr Vladimir Orlic who provided answers concerning the reports during the discussion. In addition to the regular reports he also provided additional clarifications concerning the Information on the security situation in the country relating to the current social and political events, at the request of the Committee Chairman.

Committee Chairman MA Igor Becic stressed that the current security events in the country and in the world complicate the security situation and require an increased level of engagement of all the security services of the Republic of Serbia, therefore, good cooperation practices between the Security Information Agency and the other state bodies remains one of its priorities, as well as the creation of best material and logistical conditions that contribute to the improvement of the quality of the work of the members of the services.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Igor Becic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Jasmina Obradovic, Radoslav Milojicic, Miroslav Aleksic, Jasmina Karanac, Tomislav Jankovic, Ugljesa Markovic and Aleksandar Ivanovic.
