National Assembly Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Committee Chairman Dr Muamer Bacevac Congratulates Kurban Bayram

"For the word Bayram the Arab world often uses the word 'iirjae, which means return. Return to God, return to the right way, return to all the human principles and tenets promoted by Islam.

The message of Kurban Bayram is that piety is expressed through solidarity.

When making a sacrifice during Kurban Bayram, we keep one third for ourselves, and two thirds are given to others. When we express piety, we must not forget solidarity or the people who need help.

We have to be ready to sacrifice, not just for ourselves and our family’s sake, but for others and the society we live in.

Kurban Bayram Mubarak to all Muslims, with the wish that they spend this great holiday in peace and good health, filled with joy and love for their nearest and dearest. Only through solidarity and tolerance can we reach the highest human values which open for us the door to well-being and the feeling of peace.”
