Through the programme, the students will become better acquainted with the history of Serbia and the state system, while they also had the opportunity to visit various state institutions.

In the course of their visit to the National Assembly House, they discussed the specifics and differences of the political systems of the USA and Serbia, as well as the experiences gained during the study programme which they will be attending until the end of May. The students had the opportunity to hear details about the history of Serbian parliamentarianism, as well as the role of the National Assembly through different historical periods. At the end of the visit, the Deputy Speaker once again thanked them sharing the message that they are always welcome in Serbia and the National Assembly House.
