Gender Equality Seminar Held
On 8 October, at the National Assembly House, a seminar was held on Gender Sensitive Budgeting for the members of the Gender Equality Committee.
On 8 October, at the National Assembly House, a seminar was held on Gender Sensitive Budgeting for the members of the Gender Equality Committee. The seminar was organised by the Swedish consulting company InDevelop IPM in cooperation the Gender Equality Directorate, National Employment Service and Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.
The representative of InDevelop IPM, Catharina Schmitz said that the seminar aims to discuss issues concerned with the improvement of the position of women in
Catharina Schmitz stressed that the inclusion of gender sensitive budgeting into national budget planning could improve the position of women in all spheres of public and private life, above all in employment, education, health care and other aspects important for their life and work.
