The members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society began their sitting held on 8 November 2024 with a minute’s silence for the tragic victims of the accident in Novi Sad.
The Committee considered the Ministry of Education Activity Information for the period January – March 2024; Ministry of Education Activity Information for the period April – June 2024; Ministry of Education Activity Information for the period July – September 2024; Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period January – March 2024; Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period April – June 2024 and the Ministry of Sport Activity Information for the period May – August 2024.
The activity information were presented by Minister of Sport Zoran Gajic, Minister of Education Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begovic and associates.
Following a debate the Committee decided to accept the aforementioned activity information.
Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic used the opportunity to congratulate 8 November, Teachers’ Day, stressing the importance of the profession for society and the importance of child upbringing and education.
The Committee went on to adopt the Initiative to set up a Subcommittee for Sport, whith MP Goran Spasojevic at its head, and Vesna Djurisic, Biljana Djordjevic, Ma Vladimir Jelic, Ana Miljanic, Pedja Mitrovic, Zeljko Rebraca, Zivota Starcevic and Sladjana Susnjar as members.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, and the sitting was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Djordje Pavicevic, Biljana Stosic-Ilic, Sonja Ilic, Biljana Jakovljevic, Stojan Radenovic, Zivota Starcevic, Sladjana Susnjar, Goran Spasojevic, Zeljko Rebraca, Nikola Pantelic, Dr Zoran Lutovac, Ana Miljanic and Branko Ruzic.
