Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic informed the members that the proposed amendments envisage an increase in the 2020 Assembly Budget from 3.189.944.000 to 3.207.766.000 RSD.

The Committee members adopted the proposed amendments to the 2020 Assembly Budget by majority vote.

The Committee then proceeded to review the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Novica Toncev. The Committee ascertained that the resignation falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office as stipulated by article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.
