At the request of 103 deputies, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, convened the Fourth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2006 for 10 a.m. on Tuesday 18 July.

The request for holding the sitting specifies the agenda: the National Assembly is to discuss the Bill Amending and Modifying the Broadcasting Act, proposed by deputies Svetlana Stanojevic, Vukosav Tomasevic, Miroslav Jankovic, Rajko Baralic, Esad Dzudzevic, Nikola Jovanovic, and Miroslav Gusic; the Proposal of the Decision on the Organisation and Activities of the National Assembly Support Service, proposed by the Administrative Committee; the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of a Member of the Council of the National Bank of Serbia, proposed by the Finance Committee; and the election of a member of the University Education Council, proposed by the Serbian Conference of Universities.
