Forty-Ninth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 26 May, the Legislative Committee discussed the amendments, with modifications, submitted to the Bill on Road Traffic Safety by the Committee on Transportation and Communications and deemed them technical in nature and legally feasible.



At the sitting held on 26 May, the Legislative Committee discussed the amendments, with modifications, submitted to the Bill on Road Traffic Safety by the Committee on Transportation and Communications and deemed them technical in nature and legally feasible.

The Committee also considered the amendment, with modification, to article 19 of the Food Safety Bill, submitted by deputy Miroslav Marinkovic and deemed it legally feasible. The Committee also discussed the amendments submitted by the Agriculture Committee to article 25 of the Bill on Wine and article 89 of the Bill on Animal Welfare and deemed them legally feasible.

At the sitting, the Committee discussed 10 amendments submitted by the Justice and Administration Committee to the Bill Banning Manifestations by Neo-Nazi or Fascist Organisations and Associations and the Display of Neo-Nazi or Fascist Symbols and Paraphernalia and deemed them legally feasible.

In addition, the Legislative Committee considered the initiatives to estimate the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Law on Travel Documents, Health Care Law and the Law on Local Elections. Regarding the initiatives, the Committee decided to forward an opinion adherent to the Serbian Government’s opinion, to the Constitutional Court of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Vlatko Ratkovic, Committee Chairman.
