At the sitting held on 27 March, the Legislative Committee considered 26 of the bills submitted by the Government and included into the agenda for the Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009.

In addition to the Bill on the Appearance and Use of the Coat of Arms, Flag and National Anthem of the Republic of Serbia, the Committee also discussed four ecological bills: on Air Protection, on Nature Conservation, on Protection against Noise in Living Environment and on the Protection and Sustainable Use of the Fish Fund.

It also considered the bills: on Political Parties, on the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia, amending and modifying the Law on Chambers of Commerce, on the expiration of the Foreign Trade Transactions Insurance and Financing Fund Law, on Foreign Trade Transactions, on Standardisation, on Technical Requirements for Products and Conformity Assessment, on Tourism, on Employment and Unemployment Insurance and on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons.

At the sitting, the Committee also discussed 11 bills on the confirmation of international agreements.

The Legislative Committee unanimously deemed all the bills in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and its legal system.
