Fortieth Sitting of the Justice and Administration Committee
At the sitting held on 21 December, the Justice and Administration Committee considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Judges for a three-year term of office at courts of general and special jurisdiction.
At the sitting held on 21 December, the Justice and Administration Committee considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Judges for a three-year term of office at courts of general and special jurisdiction. The Committee noted that the Proposal on the election of judges had been submitted by the High Judicial Council as an authorised submitter.
Following the discussion, the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Judges for a three-year term of office at courts of general and special jurisdiction.
The Committee members considered the Proposal of the State Prosecutors Council for the first election of Deputy Public Prosecutor and, having discussed it, decided to propose to the National Assembly to accept the Proposal of the State Prosecutors Council.

The Committee unanimously endorsed the Bills and proposed that the National Assembly adopt the Bills in principle.
