First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2012

The Speaker of the National Assembly, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, convened the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2012, for Monday, 8 October 2012, starting at 10 am.


The National Assembly established the following agenda:

1. Proposal of the Decision to Revoke the Immunity of MP Oliver Dulic, submitted by the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues of the National Assembly.

The sitting was opened to the sounds of the national anthem, “God of Justice”, performed by Oktoih vocal ensemble from Belgrade.

Based on the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission and the proposal of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, the National Assembly noted the verification of the term of office of MP Karolj Cizik, elected from the CHOICE FOR BETTER LIFE – BORIS TADIC Electoral List. The newly-elected MP then proceeded to take the oath of office.

At the proposal of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, the National Assembly noted the termination of the term of office of MP Stana Bozovic, from the LET’S GET SERBIA MOVING – TOMISLAV NIKOLIC Electoral List, before the expiry of the term she was elected for.

After recess, the National Assembly noted the verification of the term of office of MP Milinko Zivkovic, elected from the LET’S GET SERBIA MOVING – TOMISLAV NIKOLIC Electoral List, based on the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission and the proposal of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues. The MP then proceeded to take the oath of office.

At the sitting, the National Assembly conducted and concluded the single debate on the Proposal of the Decision to Revoke the Immunity of MP Oliver Dulic.

As the National Assembly had concluded the single debate on the only item on the agenda for the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session, National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, set Monday, 8 October 2012, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda for the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2012, starting at 4.45 pm.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 8 October 2012, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision to Revoke the Immunity of MP Oliver Dulic, by a majority of votes.

On Voting Day, the National Assembly also ruled on the violations of the Rules of Procedure the MPs complained of in the course of the session and decided that none of the provisions of the Rules of Procedure had been violated.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic concluded the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2012.
