First Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
The Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending held its first sitting on 2 April 2024, convened by National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic, as stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Branko Pavlovic, of the WE – VOICE FROM THE PEOPLE Parliamentary Group.
By majority vote, the Committee members elected Veroljub Arsic, of the “ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Serbia Must Not Stop Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman, while Dr Dusan Bajatovic, of the IVICA DACIC - Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Parliamentary Group, was elected Committee Deputy Chairman.
