The topic of the meeting was the importance and activities conducted during the implementation of the parliamentary project within the UNDP National Programme document.

Arsic said that any improvement of the MPs’ and local self-government representatives’ skills in the field of public spending is extremely important and he believes that having meetings outside of the National Assembly seat with DRI representatives had greatly contributed to it, with the UNDP’s support playing a key role in the process.

“The idea is to have joint meetings with the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy, Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee and the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government in the upcoming period and we would also like to have joint meetings with the parliamentary committees of the countries in the region”, said Arsic.
