At the sitting held on 20 July, the Legislative Committee discussed the amendments the deputies had submitted to the first 15 Bills on the agenda for the Eleventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009.

Except for some amendments rejected as incomplete and untimely, the Committee pronounced all the submitted amendments legally feasible.

Regarding the initiatives to estimate the constitutionality of articles 8 and 9 of the Law on Chambers of Commerce, forwarded to the Committee by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia, the Committee decided to inform the Constitutional Court that the disputed provisions are not contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.
