Fifty-Fifth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 13 July, the Legislative Committee conducted a discussion on the particulars of three Bills included in the agenda for the Tenth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009.The Committee deemed the amendments submitted by Serbian Radical Party deputies to the Bill on the Budgetary System incomplete, since all 113 of the submitted amendments had an identical explanation requesting the deletion of the articles of the Bill.



At the sitting held on 13 July, the Legislative Committee conducted a discussion on the particulars of three Bills included in the agenda for the Tenth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009.

The Committee deemed the amendments submitted by Serbian Radical Party deputies to the Bill on the Budgetary System incomplete, since all 113 of the submitted amendments had an identical explanation requesting the deletion of the articles of the Bill. Therefore, the Committee unanimously rejected all the amendments as incomplete. The rest of the amendments submitted to the Bill were deemed legally feasible.

The Committee also rejected as incomplete the five amendments submitted by deputy Vladan Batic to the Bill granting guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of “MARFIN BANK” Belgrade under the debt of Public Enterprise “Serbian Roads”. These amendments requested the deletion of all the articles of the Bill offering an identical explanation for all.

Out of the seven amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Labour Law, the Committee deemed five legally feasible, while two of the amendments were rejected.
