Eighth Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 20 September, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered, in detail, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, Bill amending and modifying the Value Added Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tobacco, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Fiscal Cash Registers, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Local Self-Government Funding, Bill amending the Law on Compulsory Traffic Insurance and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Court Fees, submitted by the Government.


The sitting was attended by Minister of Finance and Economy, Mladjan Dinkic, representative of the submitters.
The MPs had submitted two amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, which neither the Government nor the Committee accepted. The Committee submitted three amendments of its own, to articles 7, 32 and 33 of the Bill, which the representative of the submitters accepted at the Committee sitting.
The MPs had submitted five amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Value Added Tax Law, which neither the Government nor the Committee accepted. The Committee submitted two amendments of its own to the Bill, adding articles 45a and 45b after article 45, and to article 50 of the Bill, which the representative of the submitters accepted at the Committee sitting.
The MPs had submitted two amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law. Neither the Government nor the Committee accepted the MPs’ amendments.
The MPs had submitted three amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, which neither the Government nor the Committee accepted. At the sitting, the Committee accepted the amendment submitted by the Government to article 34 of the Bill.
Neither the Government nor the Committee accepted the amendment an MP had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tobacco. The Government had also submitted an amendment to the Bill, to article 4, which the Committee accepted.
The MPs had submitted three amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Fiscal Cash Registers, which neither the Government nor the Committee accepted.
Out of the eight amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Local Self-Government Funding, the Government and the Committee accepted one. The Government had submitted two amendments to the Bill, to articles 3 and 13, which the Committee accepted.
Neither the Government nor the Committee accepted the amendment an MP had submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Compulsory Traffic Insurance.
An MP had submitted an amendment to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Court Fees, which neither the Government nor the Committee accepted.
