In the course of the session simulation, the students had the opportunity to take on the role of MPs, consider a bill and adopt it following the entire legislative process. Before the beginning of the simulation, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic greeted the participants. "You have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the organisation of the work of the parliament and all the procedures that entail the adoption of laws. You will try your hand at the roles of MPs, heads of parliamentary groups and one of you will preside over today's session. By confronting arguments, you will feel what it is like to fight for your own views and turn them into laws and rules. In our temple of democracy, this will be a useful experience for each and every one of you," said Dr Orlic.

He stressed how pleased he was top see yet another session simulation and a continuation of the "open doors" practice, which shows that the National Assembly belongs to every citizen of Serbia. "This building is a monument of Serbian culture and history, where a special place belongs to you, whom will inherit this country. I hope that you will come back to us again, some of you as MPs with real mandates, because Serbia needs good, skilled and smart young people to take care of it in the future ", said the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, once again welcoming the students, wishing them success.
