Dr Orlic Visits “Milutin Milankovic” High School Student Dormitory

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic visited Milutin Milankovic” High School Student Dormitory in Palilula, bringing a donation of computers from the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

In conversation with the director, Nenad Milenovic, Dr Orlic thanked the dormitory’s management and staff for providing the students with an ideal place to reside and study and for contributing to their successful schooling, social and personal growth and development of a healthy lifestyle.

Director Milenovic said that in the six decades of its existence the dormitory had housed almost 10 000 students and is currently home to 300. He informed the Assembly Speaker about the activities and educational content the dormitory provides, its organisation and thanked him for the invaluable donation which would, he stressed, contribute to the dormitory’s operation and prove especially useful for the students taking computer courses and seminars, as well as for the administrative employees. He also expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Republic of Serbia is taking such good care of the children and youth and continuously working on the overall advancement of education and promotion of positive system of values.
