The visit was realised at the initiative of the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region and the group comprised Serbian students from the region – Hungary, Albania, Romania and Macedonia, studying in Belgrade. They spoke shortly of the problems they have in the countries they come from and their impressions of Serbia.
The Chairman of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region Prof. Dr Janko Veselinovic endorsed their idea to set up a student organisation which would help the students in the programme to communicate with the institutions and network with other students in the mother country and the region.
