An overview of the activities of the National Assembly of Serbia in the first half of 2003

After the Assembly’s sitting ended, the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republicof Serbia, Natasa Micic and Gordana Comic, held a press conference at which they presented the results of the Parliament’s activities over the past six months.

- In 2003, the National Assembly held 22 sessions, lasting a total of 65 days
- 8 sessions of regular sittings
- 14 sessions of extraordinary sittings

- On 18 days, the Deputies worked longer hours than foreseen by the Rules of Procedure
- The plenary sitting of the assembly in 2003 lasted about 450 hours
- A total of 129 official documents were discussed, of which 41 were discussed using emergency procedure

- 80 official documents were adopted, of which:
- 47 Acts
- 33 Decisions and other documents
