The President of the Working Group, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, said that the Working Group had reviewed the documentation submitted by the applicants and proposed that the applicants who had not submitted full documentation be excluded form the next stage of the election.
The Working Group President also proposed that the test for the candidates for the election of President and members of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures take place on Friday, 8 March, at 1 pm, and that the questions for the test be selected at a sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, to be held before the test. Out of the 60 questions prepared, the Committee members are to select 32 for the test.
According to the previously established principle, candidates who complete 75% of the test correctly will pass onto the next level, and be interviewed by the Committee members on Monday, 11 March, who will, after the interview, establish the candidates for the election of President and members of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures by vote and submit their proposal to the National Assembly for discussion, said Mijatovic.
The Committee adopted the Activity Report of the Working Group for the drafting of the test to assess the professional capability in the field of public procurement and for the reviewing of applications and eligibility of the candidates for the election of President and members of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, as well as the Working Group’s Proposal to test the candidates for the election of President and members of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures on Friday, 8 March, at 1 pm.
