33rd Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 28 January, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending adopted the Decision on Launching the Procedure to Establish the Proposal for the Election of President and Members of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.
The Committee members also established the text of the public competition for the election of president and six members of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, called by the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending.
At the sitting, the Committee also established the Working Group for the drafting of the text for candidates in the electoral procedure comprising: Member of Parliament Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Working Group President and MPs Radojko Obradovic, Dejan Radenkovic, Vladimir Marinkovic and Radmilo Kostic, Working Group members.
Following the public competition, at the proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, the National Assembly shall elect the president and members of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, for a five-year term.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Vesna Kovac.
