31st Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 15 January, the members of the European Integration Committee appointed a delegation to take part in the 13th Conference of the European Integration/Affairs Committees of States Participating in the Stabilisation and Association Process in South-East Europe (COSAP), 25-26 February 2018, in Skopje.

The Committee appointed Committee Chairman Nenad Canak and Committee members Dragan Sormaz and Dr Muamer Bacevac to the delegation.

The Committee also appointed members to the National Assembly delegation to take part in the Interparliamentary Conference “Power of the wallet: Budgetary powers and procedure in the European Parliament”, on 26 February 2018, in Skopje.

The delegation is to comprise Committee Deputy Chairperson Elvira Kovacs and Committee member Zarko Micin.

The Committee members went on to review and accept the initiative of the European Parliament Directorate-General for External Policies Democratic Support Department to co-organize a conference to be hosted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the European Integration Committee on 13 April 2018, with the topic “Use of IPARD funds”.

The Committee also accepted the initiative for the participation of Committee member Gordana Comic at the 11th Europe-Ukraine Forum with the topic “Association and What’s Next?” in Rzeszów, Poland, 13-14 March 2018, as well as the initiative to organize a conference with the topic “Toward Peace and Development with the Idea of the EU”, to be organized by the European Integration Committee in the first half of May 2018.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Nenad Canak, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Elvira Kovacs, Vesna Markovic, MA Dejan Radenkovic, Olivera Pesic, Zvonimir Djokic, Gordana Comic, Haji Milorad Stosic, Dubravka Filipovski, Vladimir Djuric, Dragan Sormaz, Zarko Micin and Dr Muamer Bacevac.
