27th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 6 December, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending debated the Bill on Payment Deadlines in Commercial Transactions, Bill amending the Budget System Law, Bill on Conditional Write-off of Interest and Tax Debt Dormancy, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Foreign Currency Transactions and the Bill on Default Interest, in detail.
Out of the 26 amendments submitted to the Bill on Payment Deadlines in Commercial Transactions, the Committee accepted one amendment, submitted by the Government. The Committee submitted two amendments of its own to the Bill, to articles 3 and 13.
The Government and the Committee did not accept the amendment submitted to the Bill amending the Budget System Law.
Out of the 15 amendments submitted to the Bill on Conditional Write-off of Interest and Tax Debt Dormancy, the Committee and the Government accepted one amendment.
The Government and the Committee did not accept any of the three amendments submitted by the MPs to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Foreign Currency Transactions.
Out of the nine amendments submitted to the Bill on Default Interest, the Committee accepted one amendment, submitted by the Government.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Vesna Kovac.
