Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic presented the main characteristics of the Bill to the Committee members. Following a debate involving the Committee members and MPs, the Committee adopted the Republic of Serbia 2013 Budget Bill, with its accompanying Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund 2013 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Republic Health Insurance Fund 2013 Financial Plan, Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Fund for Social Insurance of Military Insured 2013 Financial Plan and the Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the National Employment Service 2013 Financial Plan, in principle, by a majority of votes.

At the sitting, the Committee also considered and adopted, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Corporate Income Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Excise Tax Law, Bill on Payment Deadlines in Commercial Transactions, Bill on Conditional Write-off of Interest and Tax Debt Dormancy, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Foreign Currency Transactions, Bill on Default Interest, Bill amending the Insurance Law and the Bill on the Assumption of Obligations of Health Care Institutions toward Wholesale Pharmacies arising from Procurement of Medicines and Medical Material and Transforming Said Obligations into the Public Debt of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also considered and adopted, in principle, the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Georgia on Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and Property, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Tunisia on Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and Property, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Canada on Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and Property and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters.
