20th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 25 June 2021, the members of the European Integration Committee selected a delegation to take part in the meeting of the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC), to be held under the auspices of the parliamentary dimension of Slovenia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, on 19 July 2021 as a videoconference. The delegation selected is as follows: Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs and member Nemanja Joksimovic.

The Committee members also selected a delegation to take part in the meeting of the Conference of the European Integration/Affairs Committees of States Participating in the Stabilisation and Association Process of the South-East Europe (COSAP), to be held on 29 June 2021, in Sarajevo, as a videoconference. The delegation selected is as follows: Predrag Rajic, Dubravka Filipovski and Andrijana Avramov.

The Committee also considered the Draft Framework Partnership Agreement between the Hungarian Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. The Agreement is to be signed on 5 July, when the Hungarian parliament Speaker is expected to visit. The Committee believes the upcoming signing of the Partnership Agreement between the Hungarian Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to be useful and agreed with the changes made, which are technical in nature and concern the improvement of the formulation of the text of the Draft Agreement.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Samira Cosovic, Stefan Srbljanovic, Ljiljana Malusic, Goran Milic, Dubravka Filipovski, Viktor Jevtovic, Ana Miljanic, Stanislava Janosevic, Milan Radin, Predrag Rajic and Nemanja Joksimovic.
