20th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 6 November, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of the Council of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and forwarded it to the National Assembly for deliberation.
The candidate for Governor’s Council President for a five-year term of office is Dr Nebojsa Savic, while the candidates for NBS Governor’s Council members are MA Stojan Stamenkovic, for a four-year term of office; Dr Miladin Kovacevic for a three-year term of office; MA Nikola Martinovic for a two-year term of office and MA Ivan Nikolic, for a year’s term of office.
At the sitting the Committee also formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of the Director of the Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority and forwarded it to the National Assembly for deliberation. The decision proposal nominates Djordje Jevtic for the post.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Vesna Kovac.
