18th Session of the Constitutional Commission`s Basic Issues and Coordination Sub-Committee Held
The Constitutional Commission's Basic Issues and Coordination Sub-Committee held the eighteenth session on September 30 at 14.00 h.
The Constitutional Commission's Basic Issues and Coordination Sub-Committee held the eighteenth session on September 30 at 14.00 h. Prof. Stevan Lilic, Ph. D., presided over this session.
The Sub-Committee members started reexamination of the Draft Constitution of Serbia - Working Text, in order to reconcile their positions on debatable provisions in the part of the Constitution under competencies of this Sub-Committee. After the suggestion had been reconciled that way, they handed it over to the Constitutional Commission to make a decision.
The Sub-Committee completed discussion on both the Preamble and the basic constitutional provisions. Concerning the majority of provisions the uniform Sub-Committee's proposal was defined, while alternatives were formed on topics where a consensus had not been reached.
