14th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 25 October, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered, in detail, the Bill on the Assumption of Assets and Liabilities of Certain Banks for the purpose of Maintaining the Stability of the Financial System of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government.
The MPs had submitted 46 amendments to the Bill, out of which the Government and the Committee accepted none.
The Committee submitted five amendments of its own to articles 1, 4, 6, 15 and 17 of the Bill, which the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, as representatives of the submitter, accepted at the Committee sitting.
Committee Chairperson Vesna Kovac announced that the sitting would continue on Friday, 26 October, in order to consider submitting additional amendments by the Committee to the Bill on the Assumption of Assets and Liabilities of Certain Banks for the purpose of Maintaining the Stability of the Financial System of the Republic of Serbia
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Vesna Kovac.
