14th Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society
At the sitting held on 4 December, the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society reviewed and, after a short debate, adopted the Bill on the Confirmation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Holy See in the field of Higher Education, submitted by the Government.
The Bill was elaborated by Assistant Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Zorana Luzanin.
The Committee members went on to establish the candidate list for the election of a member of the National Education Council submitted by the authorised submitter – the University of Novi Sad. The list contains Prof. Dr Rade Doroslovacki, tenured professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, and Prof. Dr Mirjana Segedinac, tenured professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics in Novi Sad. The Committee will forward the candidate list to the National Assembly with the proposal that it be discussed by urgent procedure at the next National Assembly sitting.
