13th Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction
At the sitting held on 31 January, the members of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction unanimously adopted the Conclusions from the public hearing on “Law on Social Welfare – One Year of Implementation”.

The Committee members also adopted the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction 2013 Activity Plan and Programme. The Activity Plan envisages the organisation of three public hearings, four topical sittings, discussion on four pieces of the Ministry Activity Information, as well as at least three sittings of the Subcommittee on the Issues of War Veterans and Victims of the Wars from 1991-1999. The Committee will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, as well as international and domestic non-governmental organisations, and several study visits will also be organised.
The Committee members went on to invite the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Policy to attend the next Committee sitting and submit a quarterly Activity Information on the Ministry, as envisaged in the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
The sitting was chaired by Milica Dronjak, Committee Chairperson.
