12th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 23 October, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered and adopted, in principle, the Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement (JSC Serbian Railways: Track Rehabilitation), between the Republic of Serbia and the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development, submitted by the Government.
At the sitting, the Committee also considered and adopted, in principle, the Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement (Subotica Water Systems Improvement Project) between the Republic of Serbia and the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Georgia on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters, submitted by the Government.
The Committee members went on to discuss the creation of Committee working groups tasked with proposing topical recommendations to the reports of the State Audit Institution, after which the Committee would forward the SAI reports to the National Assembly for deliberation, along with a formulated recommendation proposal.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Vesna Kovac.
