12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature

At the request of the Serbian Government, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic convened the 12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature, for Friday, 10 September 2021, starting at 10 am.

The agenda for the session was set in the Government’s request:

  1. Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on War Memorials, submitted by the Government,
  2. Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus on Cooperation in the Field of Disaster Protection, submitted by the Government, and
  3. Bill on the Confirmation of Decision 2014/2 Amending Annex I to the Convention on the Transboundary Effects of Industrial Accidents, submitted by the Government.

The National Assembly accepted the proposal of MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic to complete a joint single debate on items 1, 2 and 3 on the agenda.

On behalf of the submitter, the bills were presented by Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic.

The National Assembly commenced and by the end of the day concluded the joint single debate on all three items on the agenda.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Radovan Tvrdisic set Friday, 10 September 2021, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda of the 12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature, starting at 3 pm.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 10 September 2021, the National Assembly adopted Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on War Memorials, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus on Cooperation in the Field of Disaster Protection and Bill on the Confirmation of Decision 2014/2 Amending Annex I to the Convention on the Transboundary Effects of Industrial Accidents.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic concluded the 12th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 12th Legislature.
