On behalf of the Serbian delegation, the meeting was attended by Vladimir Djordjevic.

The participants discussed topic of key importance including the participation of children in decision making, sustainable and socially just energy transition, right and access to adequate housing.

A hearing was also held on social mobilisations and police response in Council of Europe member states with the participation of experts and representatives of civil society organisations. The speakers participating in the discussion presented different perspectives on police actions, including the use of force, cases of excessive repression, torture and punishment of protesters.

Regarding of police brutality and disrespect for the law in France, Djordjevic said that civil disobedience and demonstrations produce results, because the police are at the service of the people, not the government, regardless of the country. "At the end of the day, police brutality against the people always brings about a change of government," Djordjevic concluded.

The Committee members also considered the responses of the Committee of Ministers to the recommendations of the Parliamentary Assembly on the protection of children from violence on the Internet, the prevention of addictive behaviour in children, and the abuse of children in institutions.
