Visit of Montenegrin Legislative Committee

The members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues met with the Legislative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro on 15 December at the National Assembly Building.


Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski welcomed the visitors, stressing how important the exchange of experiences between the two committees is in view of their shared scope of work in the legislative process. The Committee members presented the role of the National Assembly’s Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues in this legislative process and informed the vising MPs on the Committee’s activities.

Marta Scepanovic, Chairperson of the Montenegrin Legislative Committee, emphasized the significance of comparing the two committees’ experiences and practice as a useful tool for the improvement of their operation.

The members of two committees concluded that bilateral meetings with other parliaments are very important, hoping that their cooperation and exchange of experiences would be continued in the future.
