Vesna Markovic and Dusica Stojkovic Take Part in OSCE PA Political Affairs and Security General Committee Session

The Head of the National Assembly’s delegation to the OSCE PA Vesna Markovic, delegation member Dusica Stojkovic took part in the session of the OSCE PA General Committee on Political Affairs and Security. The session was held on 2 July in an online format within the OSCE PA regular annual session.

The session opened with an introductory speech by Congressman Richard Hudson, Chairman of the Committee. After the introductory speech, Committee Special Rapporteur Laurynas Kasciunas presented his Report to the participants. The Report addressed the issue of strengthening multilateralism in times of global crisis, as well as possible responses by national parliaments in terms of taking concrete actions in the future. Following the presentation of the Report, the Committee members commenced a debate.
