At its twenty-seventh sitting, the Administrative Committee discussed the request of the Investigative Judge of the District Court in Sombor for authorisation to have Palamar Senad, Deputy District Public Prosecutor in Novi Pazar, remanded in custody and the Report of the Republic Electoral Commission for the purpose of filling a seat at the National Assembly.

The Administrative Committee proposed that the National Assembly urgently bring a decision on the authorisation to have Palamar Senad remanded in custody for the reasonable doubt that he committed the crime of abuse of official authority. Also, based on the Report of the Republic Electoral Commission and documents submitted by the Member of Parliament, the Committee concluded that the conditions are met to confirm the mandate to the Member of Parliament Nenad Milenkovic, elected from the Democratic Party-Boris Tadic electoral list and proposed that the National Assembly acknowledge the confirmation of Member of Parliament Nanad Milenkovic’s mandate.

The sitting was held on 14 November and chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dragan Todorovic.
