Twenty-Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija

The Committee on Kosovo-Metohija held a sitting on 6 December so as to take a position on the upcoming parliamentary elections in AP Kosovo-Metohija, called for 12 December 2010 by the provisional institutions of the Kosovo Government.



The Committee on Kosovo-Metohija held a sitting on 6 December so as to take a position on the upcoming parliamentary elections in AP Kosovo-Metohija, called for 12 December 2010 by the provisional institutions of the Kosovo Government.

The sitting was attended by Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic and associates.

Minister Bogdanovic restated that the Serbian Government’s position on the Kosovo elections is well-known – there are no conditions for the Government to invite Serbs to take pert in the elections called by the Kosovo provisional institutions. He stressed that all the coalition partners in the Government were unanimous on the issue.

Following a discussion, the Committee adopted a conclusion endorsing the position of the Government of the Republic of Serbia – that there are no conditions for the Serbs’ participation in the upcoming elections in AP Kosovo-Metohija.

The sitting was chaired by Ljubomir Kragovic, Committee Chairman.
