The following agenda was set for the twelfth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, convened by the Chairperson of the National Assembly, Natasa Micic, at the request of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, for 10 a.m. on Tuesday 15 July:

1. Bill on the Financing of Political Parties, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
2. Bill on the National Bank of Serbia, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
3. Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Banks and Other Financial Organisations, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
4. Bill Amending and Modifying the Excise Act, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
5. Customs Bill, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

On the first day of the session, the National Assembly commenced discussion in principle on the Bill on the Financing of Political Parties.

On the second day of the sitting (16 July), the Deputies concluded debate in principle and in particular on the Bill on the Financing of Political Parties. The National Assembly spent the remainder of the day’s session holding a joint debate in principle on the Bill on the National Bank of Serbia and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Banks and Other Financial Institutions.

On the third day of the sitting (17 June), the Deputies concluded debate in principle and debate on the particulars of the Bill on the National Bank of Serbia and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Banks and Other Financial Institutions, and commenced debate in principle on the Bill Amending and Modifying the Excise Act and the Customs Bill.

On the fourth day of the sitting (18 July), the National Assembly discussed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Excise Act, as well as the Customs Bill, both in principle and in particular.

When work resumed, on Voting Day, the National Assembly adopted, as wholes, the Bill on the Financing of Political Parties, the Bill on the National Bank of Serbia, Bills Amending and Modifying the Act on Banks and Other Financial Organisations and the Excise Act, as well as the Customs Bill, after which the Chairperson of the National Assembly, Natasa Micic, concluded the Twelfth Extraordinary Sitting in 2003.
