To Boost Serbian Legislative Power’s Cooperation with Technology Experts from Diaspora
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic and the Chairman of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region MA Ivan Kostic met today with MSc Lazar Stojkovic, serial technology entrepreneur and mentor of 500 Startups (most active startup accelerator in the world, based in San Francisco).
Marinkovic noted that there is ample room to develop close cooperation between the Serbian legislative power and technology experts in the diaspora, especially the Silicon Valley as the most advanced technological eco-system in the world. Kostic believes that whether experts from the diaspora decide to return and move their companies to the mother country in the coming period, depends on the regulation of the technology entrepreneurship environment.
The attending agreed to continue to work together toward improving the legislative framework for the further development of the technology industry in Serbia.
