Thirty-Tird Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 5 December, the Legislative Committee discussed the amendments submitted to the bills on Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces, Foreign Affairs and the basic organisation of security services of the Republic of Serbia.



At the sitting held on 5 December, the Legislative Committee discussed the amendments submitted to the bills on Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces, Foreign Affairs and the basic organisation of security services of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by the Chairman of the Legislative Committee, Vlatko Ratkovic.

Out of the 19 amendments in total submitted to the Bill on Defence, the Committee deemed 15 amendments legally feasible and forwarded them to the National Assembly to be adopted, while rejecting four amendments as they were not submitted in a timely manner.

Having discussed the 62 amendments submitted to the Bill on the Serbian Armed Forces, the Legislative Committee deemed 45 amendments legally feasible, four not being aligned with the Serbian Constitution and legal system, and rejected 13 amendments as they were not submitted in a timely manner.

The Legislative Committee deemed legally feasible 14 amendments, out of the 17 in total submitted to the Foreign Affairs Bill (one was not aligned with the Serbian Constitution and the legal system, and two amendments were not submitted in a timely manner).

All amendments submitted to the Bill on the basic organisation of security services of the Republic of Serbia, 36 in total, were deemed legally feasible and forwarded to the National Assembly to be adopted.
