The Security Services Control Committee ascertained that in said period the Military Security Agency had employed its counter-intelligence and security measures to efficiently protect the Ministry of Defence, the Serbian Army and the country’s defence readiness as a whole, in line with the law.
The Committee recommended that the Military Security Agency should launch an initiative to amend the legislation which would in turn contribute to the service’s efficiency, help redefine its scope and duties and adapt to real security challenges, risks and threats to the entire defence system.
