The Ministry Information was presented by Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujovic who said that in this period the Ministry had adopted the Ordinance on the conditions and manner of conduct of the subsidised purchase of new pure electric vehicles as well as combination combustion engine and electric drive vehicles, and a Rulebook amending the Rulebook on the Chemicals Registry.

Speaking of acts in procedure, Vujovic said that the Ministry was working on the preparation of a Draft Law amending and modifying the Law on Environmental Protection, Draft Law on Climate Change, Draft Law on Control of Major-Accident Hazards Involving Dangerous Substances, Draft Law on Environmental Impact Assessment, Draft Law on Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment, Draft Law on Protection from Environmental Noise and Draft Law on Biocidal Products.

The acts in procedure also include a number of ordinances concerning waste management, air purification, use of protected natural goods and landscape of exceptional characteristics, the Minister said.

She also spoke about the results of the Sector for Strategic Planning, Projects, International Cooperation and European Integration, Sector for Environmental Management, Sector for Environmental Protection and Climate Change, Sector for Waste and Wastewater Management, Sector for Financial Management and Control, Sector for Environmental Monitoring and Precaution and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Following the presentation and ensuing discussion, the Committee members decided to accept the Ministry of Environmental Protection Activity Information for the period November, December 2020 and January 2021, and propose that the National Assembly adopt it.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ljubinko Rakonjac and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members Zarko Bogatinovic, Dragana Radinovic, Marko Bogdanovic, Marko Mladenovic, Tomislav Jankovic, Vesna Krisanov, Jelena Obradovic, Stanislava Janosevic, Ákos Újhelyi and Mina Kitanovic, as well as representatives of the Green Chair.
