Third Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 26 April, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments to the Bill on Ministries and the Bill amending the Law on the Government, submitted by MP Veroljub Arsic.
To the Bill on Ministries, the MPs had submitted 66 amendments while the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government had submitted eight amendments, and the Committee members found all the amendments compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, except for the amendment to article 9 of the Bill which the Committee rejected as incomplete.
The Committee members also found the two amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending the Law on the Government compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee went on to discuss the Proposal of the Decision amending and modifying the Decision on the election of members and deputy members of the Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, and ascertained that it complied with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Martinovic.
