Third Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly in 2005

At the request of 104 deputies, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, convened the Third Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly in 2005 for 10 a.


At the request of 104 deputies, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, convened the Third Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly in 2005 for 10 a.m. on Friday 18 February.

The following agenda was set in the request for the holding of the session:

1. Proposal of the Resolution on Facilitating the Defence of Slobodan Milosevic at The Hague by the Termination of Prosecution of his Family.

On the first day of the session (18 February), the National Assembly commenced joint discussion of the Proposal of the Resolution.

On the second day of the session (28 February), the National Assembly held a joint discussion of the Proposal of the Resolution on Facilitating the Defence of Slobodan Milosevic at The Hague by the Termination of Prosecution of his Family.

The Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, set Voting Day as soon as the session had ended.

The National Assembly did not adopt the Proposal of the Resolution Facilitating the Defence of Slobodan Milosevic at The Hague by the Termination of Prosecution of his Family.

As discussion and voting on the item had ended, Mr Markovic concluded the session of the Third Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2005.
