Tenth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003

The following agenda was proposed for the Tenth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, convened by Chairperson Natasa Micic for 10 a.


The following agenda was proposed for the Tenth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, convened by Chairperson Natasa Micic for 10 a.m. on Wednesday 2 July:

1. Employment and Unemployment Insurance Bill, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
2. Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Taxation Procedure and Revenue Administration, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
3. Bill Amending and Modifying the Turnover Tax Act, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
4. Bill on Providing Counter-guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro as Guarantor with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for a Loan to the Republic Road Administration, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia;
5. Election, termination of office and dismissal of judicial officials.

At the beginning of the sitting, the National Assembly noted that the term of office of Deputy Slobodan Pavlovic, elected on the Socialist Party of Serbia - Slobodan Milosevic electoral list, was terminated before its expiry.

On the first day of the sitting, the National Assembly discussed the Employment and Unemployment Insurance Bill in principle and commenced to debate its particulars.

On the second day of the sitting (3 July), the Deputies concluded debating amendments submitted to the Employment and Unemployment Insurance Bill and commenced joint debate in principle on the Bills Amending and Modifying the Act on Taxation Procedure and Revenue Administration and the Turnover Tax Act and the Bill on Providing Counter-guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro as Guarantor with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for a Loan to the Republic Road Administration.

On the third day of the sitting (8 July), the Deputies concluded joint debate in principle on three Bills, which had commenced the previous day, and began to discuss the particulars of the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Taxation Procedure and Revenue Administration.

On the fourth day of the sitting (9 July), the National Assembly discussed the particulars of the Bills Amending and Modifying the Act on Taxation Procedure and Revenue Administration and the Turnover Tax Act, and commenced to debate in principle the election, termination of office and dismissal of judicial officials.

On the fifth day of the sitting (10 July), the National Assembly concluded debate on proposals of decisions on the election, termination of office and dismissal of judicial officials.

When work resumed, on Voting Day, the National Assembly adopted, as wholes, the Employment and Unemployment Insurance Bill, the Bills Amending and Modifying the Act on Taxation Procedure and Revenue Administration and the Turnover Tax, the Bill on Providing Counter-guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro as Guarantor with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for a Loan to the Republic Road Administration, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as well as proposals of decisions on the election, termination of office and dismissal of judicial officials, which concluded the Tenth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly in 2003.
