Student work placement programme to be organised for third time
The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, the head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and Montenegro, HE Maurizio Massari, and the vice-dean of the Faculty of Business Law, Professor Dr Nebojsa Sarkic, today signed a Memorandum on Understanding on the Student Work Placement Programme at the National Assembly, marking the start of the Programme in the academic year 2004-05.The Programme aims to provide an opportunity for young professionals to practically apply the knowledge acquired through studies in assisting deputies, committee members and other employees of the National Assembly, as well as to become acquainted with the activities of one of the most significant institutions of any democratic system of government.

The Programme aims to provide an opportunity for young professionals to practically apply the knowledge acquired through studies in assisting deputies, committee members and other employees of the National Assembly, as well as to become acquainted with the activities of one of the most significant institutions of any democratic system of government.
The signing of the Memorandum also marks the continuation of the constant and very successful co-operation between OSCE and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia as the supreme legislative authority and the supreme body of government.
